Cyber Crime Unit
We are always seeking funding for our cyber crime unit which investigates cyber crime and conducts computer forensics. This field changes in hand with technology and the white collar criminal. Crime labs today are severely underfunded at all levels of government and law enforcement must rely on corporate and private citizen donations to assist in funding equipment and technology to combat cyber crime. With nearly each U.S. household owning a personal computer this brings the internet to your living room and your fingertips, which is great. It is also unfortunately brings the cyber criminal to your living room and gives him/her another tool to carryout his/her crime. All corporations and small businesses rely on some type of computer infrastructure to conduct day-to-day operations.
